Westworld

Michael Crichton'un 1973'te yazıp yönettiği ve aynı adı taşıyan filmden uyarlanan dizi, Jonathan Nolan ve eşi Lisa Joy tarafından oluşturuldu. Anthony Hopkins tarafından canlandırılan Doktor Robert Ford karakteri, zengin yetişkinlere hitap eden sanal bir eğlence parkı yaratır. Westworld adlı bu parka gelen ziyaretçiler, Dr. Ford tarafından yaratılan, insan görünümündeki yapay zekalarla dilediği fanteziyi gerçekleştirebilir. Vahşi Batı temalı parkta, cinsel fanteziler, keyif için adam öldürme gibi video ya da bilgisayar oyunlarında vadedilen oyun anlayışı, fiziksel bir simülasyon halinde sunulmaktadır. Fakat bu karanlık bir gelecekte geçen dizide, işler yolunda gitmemeye başlar ve androidler yapay zekâdan uyanır. Heyecanlı hikaye asıl buradan sonra başlar.
